Bacolod’s Foot Surgeon Discusses Social Science Research to Students

Dr. Chinkin Coruña taught third year students (MD2 and MD1) from University of St. La Salle ‘s College of Medicine (USLS COM) about Study Variables, Research Design last August 5 and 8, 2025. Reaching midway through the first semester of his first year of teaching Research at the medical school. ”I observe how promising each student is in class, and they display an honest eagerness which is needed in this profession,” says Dr. Coruña. He continues, "There is a need to sustain that joy in pursuing higher education, because it complements a vocation that borders on empathy with lifelong learning.”

Dr. Chinkin Coruña concludes his lecture with USLS COM MD2 students by going through their comments on the role of social science research in the medical field.
