Orthopedic Surgeon in The Doctors’ Hospital Conducts Board Review for Students

Dr. Chinkin Coruña (Center) recently held a primer to prepare post-graduate interns and clinical clerks of The Doctors’ Hospital for their physician licensure examination.

We wish our interns well as they continue studying for their upcoming Physician Licensure Examinations! Beginning their hospital rotation, Dr. Chinkin Coruña introduced them to preparing their schedule and managing their time to prepare for an important examination in there young career. He shared: “Even the best students don’t do very well during examination. You have to understand that when reviewing, you are literally going through academic material more than once. So if you are learning something for the first time, it may not be reviewing anymore. Your desire to pass the examination means that you are preparing for it this early.”

The class was held last September 18, 2025 at the Basement Function Hall of The Doctors’ Hospital in Bacolod City. The students were made aware that there are study materials accessible and readily available, and were coached on testmanship and high-yield content that many past examinees vouch as having appeared in the two-week long exercise.
